The North American team is the eighth confirmed side for the Finnish LAN.
Elisa has announced that Complexity have been invited to compete in Elisa Espoo Masters 2022. The team around Johnny "JT" Theodosiou are currently the only North American side to be invited, with the other top twenty teams in attendance being Astralis, MOUZ, fnatic, BIG, and ENCE.
Complexity will join these teams in competing for a $200,000 prize pool and a direct invite to the Play-In stage of IEM Katowice 2023. There are four more teams to be revealed for the event, with two being invited, one qualifying through the Elisa Invitational Fall and the other to be decided.

The young North American squad has shown promise in the past but was struggling to find wins in the early stages of the year. In August, Complexity brought on AWPer Håkon "hallzerk" Fjærli to replace Paytyn "junior" Johnson and since then have been rapidly improving, even being pegged to make it through to the IEM Rio Major.
However, off the back of a disappointing performance at the IEM Rio Americas Regional Major Ranking event and in turn no appearance at the IEM Rio Major, there is pressure on Complexity to prove themselves against European competition.
The tournament will be rife with storylines as it is scheduled immediately after the Major, and there will be many eyes on Nicolai "device" Reedtz's debut since returning to Astralis.
